I’m pretty sure that’s the first time those two words have been put together as the title of a piece of creative writing, and probably for good reason! Here are a couple of wintery haikus regardless…
Throb
Welly boots wobble
On rutted tracks frozen stiff.
Wind-stung cheeks throb pink.
Marble
Marbled moon-crossed ice
Crusted creeps ‘cross wind-stirred pond.
Nothing moves beneath.
