Haiku – Marble and Throb

I’m pretty sure that’s the first time those two words have been put together as the title of a piece of creative writing, and probably for good reason! Here are a couple of wintery haikus regardless…

Throb

Throb

Welly boots wobble

On rutted tracks frozen stiff.

Wind-stung cheeks throb pink.

Marble

Marble

Marbled moon-crossed ice

Crusted creeps ‘cross wind-stirred pond.

Nothing moves beneath.
