From fresh to saltwater today in a couple of haiku…

Spate
Through spate and death-drought,
Boulders rounded, pebbles smoothed –
Cold river-crafted.

Salt
Salt murmurations.
Tops and troughs, feeling, pressing,
Weaving sea walls, slow.
