Vandals and vanity today in a couple of haiku…
Fairway
Mulchy eruptions
Pockmarking fairways and lawns –
Velvet-nosed vandals.
Forth
Winter’s bud, coddled
Through stiff hoarfrost and hard rain,
Finally bursts forth.
