Peripheral and Pollen | Haiku

From indoors to outside in a couple of haiku…

A laptop keyboard bathed in blue light

Peripheral

Harsh blue light spilling

across finger-faded keys.

Peripheral, dimmed.

A sunlit garden

Pollen

Shadowless lawns and

dirt-dry, pollen-heavy air.

Summer reigns above.

  1. Oh, those are so good, Matthew. What a contrast between the two. The first – lots of time there, and inside and harsh blue, and the second one… well, blissful: summer is here – run outside and enjoy!
